Axminster Hinge Setting Jig

A simple to use template for quick and accurate routing out of hinge recesses in both doors and frames. Apertures are provided for both 75mm(3") and 100mm(4") hinges and there is an offsetting feature on the end of the jig to establish the correct clearance at the bottom of the door. Removable pins locate the jig correctly and there are small bradawl holes provided for securing the jig to the door. Clamps can be utilised if required for more secure fixing. A corner chisel is provided with the jig for squaring up the corners of the recesses. A 1/2" diameter router cutter and a 16mm diameter template guide are required.
