Perform CCL Variable Speed Woodturning Lathe

An excellent value-for-money floor standing lathe, perfect for getting the budding woodturner started in the craft with a minimum of outlay. Based on our very popular and long-running M900 model the CCL has proved to be extremely popular over the last few years and has performed well beyond the expectations of such a low cost machine. The CCL is of cast iron construction with a variomatic speed control giving 500 to 2,000rpm in a stepless graduation. The headstock can be swivelled and locked in position to allow bowls to be turned in front of the lathe; the 45° and 90° positions are indexed for ease of selection. The lathe comes complete with an outboard tool rest extension which is used to get the bowl rest into the best position when turning with the head rotated. The headstock and tailstock both have 2 Morse tapers and the spindle thread is 1" x 8tpi (ref T04M), the standard thread used on all the smaller Axminster lathes. Supplied complete with 4 prong drive centre, revolving tailstock centre, 150mm faceplate, outboard tool rest extension, 300mm tool rest and stand.
