Axminster Wood Thread Cutting Kit

An economically priced and useful item for cutting internal and external threads in wood. Each kit comprises a screw box with which to make the male thread and two matching wood taps, one starter and one bottom tap with which to produce the female thread. Used to produce nut crackers, join turned parts, wooden nuts and bolts, toys etc. Recommended pilot hole diameters for the female threads are shown below.
