Jet JDP-8 Bench Top Pillar Drill
A compact and well engineered pillar drill for the home workshop. One of the most notable features is the extension wings fitted to the cast iron machine table, these give extra support to longer work pieces, especially when drilling near an edge. The maximum drilling capacity in steel is 13mm, impressive for this size of machine. It is powered by a quiet Input 350W induction motor. Making life that little bit easier on the eye is a 12V halogen lamp. The depth gauge is micro adjustable, ensuring accuracy. N.B. Morticing attachments will not fit this machine.

"Received this item next day, very well packed and all metal surfaces had a protective coating. It took about 10 minutes to assemble the components and it was up and running. The pull out tool tray is useful for keeping the chuck key and allen keys (provided) handy. It also comes with a vice (not mentioned in the sales details) and 2 bolts, nuts & washers to bolt it to the work table if required. All in all this appears excellent value for money, and is well made for the price. "
