This is a more basic, lower cost model which is more suitable for single user applications. Because the operation of the Transwave convertor depends heavily on the characteristics of the driven motor, such as speed, load and motor construction, there are certain limitations on their application. In general, their use with aluminium bodied motors should be avoided, as should applications where there is a large variation in load or a motor speed below 1450rpm. The need to manually adjust the machine to cater for load variations makes this type of converter less convenient for multi-motor and multi-user applications.
