Axminster AW12BM Bench Morticer

This bench mounted morticer is fitted with a low voltage worklight and with a fine adjuster on the back fence for precise settings. The depth stop incorporates a haunch stop (i.e. it has two depth positions), which is useful in small window and door construction. The machine is simple to set up and has a maximum chisel capacity of 12.7mm. A drill chuck and adaptor is supplied for simple drilling etc. The handle has a quick adjustment facility so that it can be located in the right plunging position, the grip is in a comfortably horizontal. On the back of the fence is a chippings collection point which, when attached to a suitable extractor, draws away much of the waste. Manufactured from cast iron and steel fabrications this is a solid and well built machine, suitable for light trade use. Supplied complete with drill chuck, chuck key, low voltage worklight, chisel bushing and 1/2" chisel and bit. N.B. Takes 3/4" shank chisels only.
