• Belt runs in both the horizontal and vertical or any angle between 0° and 90° • Belt platen made from precision ground steel plate and fitted with graphite slip plate for lower friction • Belt is oscillated by a heavy duty worm gear mechanism running in an oil bath • Rubber idler roller and aluminium drive rollers ensure a positive grip onto the sanding belt • Ground cast iron front table can be moved up, down, forward and backward using handwheel for precise alignment with the belt • Table is lockable into position with two camlock levers • 2 x 100mm dust ports, one at each end of the belt ensure efficient dust collection. A 2000 m³/hr dust extractor is recommended • Variable height end table with built in 100mm dust port enabling the use of three sizes of sanding bobbins for drum sanding is included
Axminster Oscillating Belt Sander
An industrial quality oscillating belt sander with many nicely thought out features. Well suited to any small to medium sized workshop or wood preparation area, it is fully guarded and exceptionally easy to use. An additional use is as a small vertical drum sander with the fitment of any of the three bobbins (1 1/2", 2", 3") supplied. N.B. A 16A 230V supply must be used.
