The T45 Thicknesser provides an ideal machine for modern manufacturing. It delivers cleanly planed surfaces, is quick and easy to use and operates at 76.9 dB(A) so is very quiet. The standard electronic control unit with the T45 has 99 storable planing dimensions, this makes setting the planing height so easy that even the first piece fits. The Thicknessing table can of course be moved by simply pressing a button or clocked upwards in 0.1mm increments. The control elements for the feed rate are within easy reach. The start button starts the machine with an automatic soft start and stopping brakes the machine electronically without any wear. Also available is the contour version that allows the safe use of profiling knives to produce various finished profiles from skirting boards to decking, it can even produce doweling! The T45 Contour is a very, very versatile machine that will become an indispensable unit in the workshop. The weight of this machine along with its oscillation damping frame in a compound construction, and the optimally balanced cutter block are guaranteed to provide outstanding results. Plus the sound absorbing construction in a modern industrial design ensures a comfortable whisper quiet operation. The 1,200mm long, tilt resistant cast iron machine table is mounted on four supporting spindles absorbing safely the shear and compressive forces. Two large vee guides divert the shear forces into the solid supporting frame. A solution that intelligently ensures perfectly machined work pieces. With a motor power of 5.5kW(415V) the T45 is more than capable of handling any job you can think of and has a maximum depth of cut of 12mm allowing for massive material removal. Weighing in at 1,200kg this is no lightweight machine but one that is designed to give the industrial workshop years of uninterrupted use.
