Combines, in one compact tool, the ability to measure and mark 90° and 45°, both left and right, mark off parallel lines and, possibly best of all, to transfer square lines around two sides of a piece of timber, which should help to avoid those cumulative errors which often creep in. The 230mm long steel blade is securely fixed to a solid die-cast body and the marking slider, which has a mounting hole for a pencil, slides along the blade and secures with a locking screw. The 45° blade is locked back into the body when not needed. Well thought-out design and high quality construction puts this square into the 'must have' category.
