Veritas Dividing Rule
A unique tool and one that solves the age-old problem of accurately dividing a workpiece or board into equal divisions. The rule is placed on the board and skewed until the pins contact the edges; a pencil or scriber is placed in the appropriate division hole (from 2 to 10 divisions are possible) and a line drawn down the board. Board widths of up to 200mm(8") can be accommodated. A second scale, with holes positioned every 1/16", allows the rule to be used as a gauge for marking lines parallel to the edge of the board. The use of swivelling pins allows marking around curved edges. Made from brass and stainless steel to the high standard we are used to seeing from Veritas.
