Veritas Tool Setting Gauge

Another one of those Veritas tools which makes you ask "Why has this not been done before?" This oh-so-simple jig makes the setting of blade heights, router cutter depths, drill depths and so on a quick and simple affair, avoiding a lot of the inaccuracies that the use of a steel rule can bring. The measurement markings are in 1/4" steps on one end and the intermediate 1/8" on the other. The gauge is 9" long, 2" high and 3/4" wide, enough to ensure that it will stand unsupported on the machine table.
