Good little lathe
"I bought this lathe in its Perform CCSL guise. I has been running for about two years or so now. I have turned bowls up to its maximum diameter and although I had to take it easy on the cut it did it. My son now uses it and finds it a very versatile machine. A very good lathe at any price."

Good Lathe as Advertised
"I bought this lathe for light, hobby work and it is really grteat for that. Don't ask it to do too much or you might have problems. The motor is inclined to get very warm, which was a concern given the dust and shavings lying around. If you let the lathe cool and keep the workplace clean, then there should be no problem. Good value for money"

AVSL
"I bought this Lathe to compliment my main Lathe in my Workshop. The motor gets very hot and the shavings always drop directly on it, a worry. The main problem is the tool rest I think it is made of glass, I am an experienced woodturner, but have had the Toolrest break twice on this now, this is a design/metalergical error, that will I m sure at ome time cause injury. I advise, buy this Lathe, it is great value, but use another toolrest, for your own safety."
