A wider and heavier version of the ProGrip clamp, this version has the strongest
grip and maximum rigidity, made from aluminium extrusion it is 130mm wide with
a clamp capacity of 1270mm. Able to accept the ProGrip accessories (except for
the jaw blocks). Suitable as a rail on its own or with optional accessories for
a host of additional uses or as a clamp for panels etc makes it a very versatile
item for your tool kit. Overall length 1530mm.
The Hinge Mate Morticing Jig, based on the very popular ProGrip clamping system, offers a secure and accurate method of routing out a variety of recesses, including those for butt hinges, locks, lock plates, stopped housings and mortices. The jig consists of two cam clamping arms, a cross bar and an adjustable stop and, once assembled, can be quickly set up to rout a wide range of recess sizes. Although bearing-guided trimming cutters can be used, we recommend the use of a suitable guide bush and straight cutter. Full instructions on setting the jig and on the choice of cutter and guide bush are included.
