Axminster Drill Guide
Suitable for all mains drills with a 43mm diameter collar, these are convenient aids for accurate drilling of vertical holes. Typical applications are dowel drilling or kitchen door hinges, which need an accurately located and square recess. A vee groove in the base gives accurate location of round items. The guide rods can be set to protrude beyond the level of the base, so the guide can be used to automatically centre on an edge, very useful when undertaking tasks such as drilling a door in order to fit a lock for example.
