Axminster Rolling Rule

The rolling ruler is a genuinely useful aid to preparing small technical drawings without the need for a complex draughting machine. Used on a flat surface, the ruler will produce parallel lines across the paper and a pencil inserted in any of the holes on the rule will draw lines at right angles. Calibration is 0-300mm along the rule and there is a scale on the roller to measure the vertical travel. Other features are a protractor for setting out angles from 0° to 90° left or right, a small inch to metric conversion chart, abbreviated sine and cosine tables and a collection of useful mathematical formulae.
