Axminster Screw Gauge

This handy apron pocket sized tool quickly identifies the gauge and size of a screw. The graduations read for imperial gauge screws on one side with metric on the reverse. A scale along one edge measures screw length, either countersunk or round head (although for countersunk it has to be read backwards). The imperial size gauge also recommends the pilot hole diameter. Made from stainless steel 115 x 35mm, the Axminster screw gauge reads for sizes 1 to 30 gauge or 1mm to 10mm metric screws.
