Kirschen Swan Neck Mortice Chisels

There really is no other tool which allows access into a lock mortice or any other blind mortice to enable the cleaning up of the bottom or to make slight adjustments in the most awkward, hard to reach areas. The blade length is approximately 160mm and is made with Kirschen's own special steel. It has a robust, strong cross section to enable it to take the leverage necessary. The bolster is surmounted by a hornbeam handle with ferrules at both top and bottom. Made in Germany.
