Axminster SIEG X0 Digital Readout Micro Drill
A very useful little pillar drill for the model engineer, electronics enthusiast or indeed anyone who has the need for an accurate, compact machine for drilling holes up to 6mm diameter. Unlike many other similar drills, the Axminster SIEG X0 is solidly made and has a hefty cast iron base, making it stable and free from vibration. Features include a choice of two speed ranges with full electronic control within each speed range, digital read-out of the quill travel with zeroing facility and choice of metric or imperial units, coarse or fine downfeed and a quill locking screw. The cast iron base has two tee slots for holding a vice and there is an adjustable fence bar which clamps to the table to act as a support for the workpiece. Also available is a collet holder and five collets which replaces the chuck and provides secure and accurate mounting for drills in the range 1 to 6mm. Collets supplied are: 1 - 0.5mm, 2 - 1.5mm, 4 - 3.5mm, 5 - 4.5mm & 6 - 5.5mm.
