Axminster SS-1600MH 254mm Panel Saw

This is a great entry level panel saw in a modern, user friendly design. Fitted with a 1600mm sliding table with a telescopic support arm, cast iron main table, side support and rear feed-off tables. Supplied with an 80mm scoring blade with easy to use setting controls, and 254mm main blade, this is a fully featured machine that is well suited to the small joinery workshop or keen home user. The accuracy of the machine is guaranteed due to the sliding table being completely adjustable for height, levelness and parallel running to the blade. The sliding table has front and rear support legs to bear the weight of heavy panels and also has a side support frame that can be positioned anywhere along the length of the table. The support frame also has an extending fence rail with a precision adjustment stop to allow exactly 90° to the blade to be achieved. Ample power is provided by the 2.2kW 1ph induction motor. The whole motor frame is a substantial cast iron unit with the blade height and tilt mechanisms being particularly smooth in action. The sturdy welded steel body features a rear access door to provide easy servicing of the machine if required. Dust extraction is via ducted lower blade guards leading to a 100mm outlet at the rear of the saw plus a crown guard extraction hose linked into the extraction outlet port. Safety is well provided for with a conveniently mounted NVR switch unit with emergency stop plus interlock switches on the blade access door and rear servicing door. Supplied with a rip fence, mitre fence with work clamp, sliding table handle and blades. NB. 16A supply required.
