Brennenstuhl Wire, Pipe & Stud Detector

An invaluable tool when drilling holes in the walls of strange houses, or even familiar ones. No one can tell where a water pipe or live wire might be lurking, or where the studs are located in the plasterboard wall for a strong enough fixing to hang an old master. Powered by a 9V battery this detector gives both a visual and audible signal when the pipe/wire or stud is found. Simple to use with adjustable sensitivity, excellent penetration. Requires a PP3 or equivalent 9V alkaline battery (not included - See Batteries for Meters & Instruments within this section).
