This drill is described as an 18V heavy duty 3 mode dedicated cordless hammer drill and this is just what it is. With a large 19mm optimised hammer mechanism that will deliver corded drilling performance it is ideal for drilling anchors and fixing holes into concrete, brick and masonry from 4 mm to 20 mm. It also has an impact-stop mode for rotary drilling in wood, ceramic and steel and a rotation stop for light chiselling applications in plaster, tiles and render. The machine has a light and compact gearbox with an electronic braked motor and this combined with low vibration via spring dampers will reduce user fatigue and allow the machine to be used for longer periods. Supplied with 3 x 2.6Ah NiMh batteries, 30 mins charger, side handle grease and carry case.
