Jet JBOS-5 Oscillating Spindle Sander
A very versatile sander with oscillating bobbin and fully tilting table ideal for all manner of finishing tasks in the workshop. The oscillating motion of the bobbin prevents burning of the work as well as spreading the wear along the length of the abrasive. The cast iron table can be tilted up to 45° to allow for sanding of angled surfaces. There is a 100mm dust outlet provided at the rear of the machine and the use of a fine dust extractor, such as the WV100, is strongly recommended. The JBOS-5 sander is best suited to workshop use and has fitted as standard an exceptionally efficient extraction hood for dust free sanding when used with a suitable extractor. Supplied with 50mm, 38mm, 16mm, 12mm and 6mm bobbins and loadings. Also available as an additional accessory is a 76mm diameter bobbin, which will require an accompanying table insert.
