The tempered and blued steel blade is securely held in position by a knurled brass knob for security and ease of use. Adjustable to any angle for marking, checking or transferring angles. The stock is made from rosewood with solid brass fittings. Available in three sizes.

"There are a couple of problems with this piece. Firstly the locking knob doesn't provide enough tension for site use. It may be fine for the workshop but a little tap or knock will put it out, which is easy to do on site. The other thing was that the blade had burrs and at certain angles the rounded end of the blade won't sit flush with the stock. Looks nice though doesn't it."
