Makita UC120DZ Chainsaw 12V (Body Only)

A scaled down version of a chainsaw originally designed for off-ground forestry work. However, as a site tool for rapidly cutting larger timbers to length, its 115mm(4.1/2") long bar makes it a cut above the rest. The short bar, lower chain speed (compared to full size electric or petrol) and tip guard (designed for upwards cutting) give this unique tool a much safer feel, although it should be treated with the utmost respect. Supplied without batteries or charger, the UC120DZ makes an excellent companion to a 12V Makita drill/driver by putting the extra battery supplied with the drill/driver to good use. Also available is a telescopic extension pole (446412), which can be extended from 1.3m to 2.2m, converting the chainsaw into a long reach pruner.
