High speed steel combined drills and countersinks, double ended and used mainly on the lathe to produce a location for the tailstock centre or prior to drilling. Five individuals or an economy boxed set of 12 containing 1 x 1.0mm, 1 x 1.6mm, 2 x 2mm, 2 x 2.5mm, 3 x 3.15mm, 2 x 4.0mm and 1 x 5mm.
Perfect for countersunk holes
"Sometimes, using 'normal' countersink bits you get not perfectly centered results.
This might 'compromise' the result so, when you tighten the screw, it will want to move the two pieces to self centre. With these bits you solve the problem for smaller holes and get perfect centering with just one hole. I use them for wood.
