Makita LS1013 260mm Mitre Saw

Supplied with a folding leg stand the LS1013 is an extremely well constructed compound mitre saw with width cutting capacity up to 310mm. Twin steel bars support the sliding saw unit and there is an adjustable stop on the head to set the depth of cut when cutting tenons or housings. This very high specification machine features soft start and an electric brake to bring the blade to an almost immediate stop when the trigger is released. The table and head swivel both left and right for mitre cutting whilst the complete saw unit rotates around the horizontal axis for bevel cuts between vertical and 52° to the right. Simple bars on both sides act as extra work supports. Dust extraction is very efficient and there is a dust bag supplied as well as an extractor connection point.
