Pony ISD Hand Clamp

A traditional design much improved to make clamping more secure and releasing easier. Using a box joint rather than the usual scissor type joint immediately lifts these clamps above the rest. A box joint is much stronger and maintains correct jaw alignment. Add to this an impressive locking/release mechanism and you have a real winner. A spring-loaded lever engages on a steel shaft as the handles are squeezed together, locking firmly but requiring only a small amount of pressure on the lever to release the jaws. All parts are fully secure so there are no small springs to lose in the shavings. The handles have non-slip molded inserts to increase grip and are shaped to make them easy to squeeze, even when fully open. The non-marring jaw pads have a cross hatched pattern enabling them to clamp round or irregular pieces. The pads are hinged allowing them to swivel through a 90-degree arc, ensuring full contact even when clamping slightly non-parallel surfaces. These clamps are reliable making one-handed operation simple and predictable.
