RCD Plugs & Adaptors

For your own protection when working with any electrical tools and particularly important when using lawn mowers or hedge trimmers outdoors. In the unfortunate event of an accident the RCD (Residual Current Device) will cut the power immediately. It is important, though, that it is plugged directly into the socket and that any extension lead is then plugged into the adaptor rather than placing the adaptor between extension reel and tool. Also available is an RCD plug which can be permanently wired to your extension reel or tool. Both conform to British Standard 7071.
