Veritas Mitre Hook

This simple ABS machined mitre hook solves that problem of accurately measuring lengths of timber with mitred ends. The hook is positioned on the mitred end of the timber (either inside or outside angle) and the end of the tape is located in the appropriate slot with the help of a magnet. This holds the tape firmly whilst you're up at the other end taking a reading. The magnets are exposed on both sides making it fully reversible. Ledges machined along two sides provide an accurate 1/8" or 1/4" gauge, useful for picture framing, fitting door trim or skirting and anywhere mitred corners might be encountered.
