Axminster SIEG C2A 300mm Mini Lathe

A top quality bench lathe which is just about portable at 37kg. Constructed almost entirely of cast iron with ground, hardened bed ways, a fully featured saddle and carriage assembly, a tailstock with spindle taper turning capability and a variable speed spindle drive through a 2 speed gearbox, giving a speed range of 100-2500 rpm. A powered leadscrew with a change wheel set gives metric thread range of 0.4-2.0mm pitch (Cutting imperial threads 12 to 52tpi requires the optional imperial conversion kit part number 600699). The C2A is supplied with an oil tray, splash guard, 3 jaw self centering chuck, electrically interlocked chuck guard, change wheel set, 2MT centre and wrench set. A special feature is the standard fitted digital readout for easy, precise measuring of the tool post X & Y travel. An excellent choice for the enthusiastic model engineer or possibly school use.
