Scale to calculate whole and part bricks required for a given length Also caters for concrete blocks For dry setting out, estimating and checking course heights
Fisco Brick Mate 8m
It may look like a tape measure, and it may have a metric scale on one edge but any similarity ends there. The Brick Mate has a scale which can be used to calculate the number of whole and part bricks required for a given length up to 10 metres (this includes a 10mm mortar bond). The scale also measures vertical courses of brick. Concrete blocks are catered for in exactly the same way, length and courses again in whole and part blocks. Use this tool for dry setting out, estimating the required material and checking course heights as work progresses.

Indispensible
"This tape is marked with standard brick and block spacing, both horizontaly and verically. It really is indispensible for setting out brickwork and opennings, also very useful for checking progress when bricklaying. Saves hours of calculations and avoids the mistakes and errors which might otherwise occur."
