Jet JDS-12 300mm Disc Sander

This heavy duty disc sander will be an asset in any woodworking shop. It has a quiet running, continuously rated Input 750W induction motor, a 300mm diameter cast iron disc with Velcro disc attachment and an impressively thick cast iron working table. There is a built-in brake which brings the machine to a stop in seconds. The table, which has T slots for the mitre guide and the circle sanding pivot point, can be tilted over a range of -15° to +45°, with preset stops at 90° and 45°. One of the most notable features of this sander is the fan-assisted dust extraction, unusual in a machine of this type. The flow of air generated from the back of the disc ensures that as much of the fine dust as possible is delivered to the extraction port. The port can be connected either to a fine dust extractor or, alternatively, to the canister filter.
