Liberon Woodturner's Stick
A 50g stick whose main ingredient is carnauba wax but blended with other secret substances to slightly soften and improve the flow properties, pure carnauba being so hard it would actually scratch the workpiece. Apply to bare wood or over sanding sealer or friction polish. When buffed it produces a warm glow with a hard, lasting finish. Any woodturner worth his salt will always carry one of these in his apron pocket.
Rock hard
"Be warned - if you haven't used this before it is VERY hard and can scratch some softer woods. Has the consistency of brittle toffee rather than wax. It does produce a good but extremely shiny finish on harder woods but it is easy to build up too thick a layer if you use too much pressure."
