Accurately cuts or trims narrow strips from full plasterboard sheet Two circular cutting wheels Adjustable clamp controls depth of cut
Plasterboard Strip Cutter
An ingenious device for accurately cutting or trimming a narrow strip from a full new sheet of plasterboard. Two very sharp circular cutting wheels are mounted on arms connected by a spring. Between the arms is an adjustable clamp, which controls the depth of cut (up to 120mm) and the distance between the wheels. Select the desired depth i.e. width of strip (the arms are graduated in metric and imperial), place the device over the edge of the board, then, using the side screw, close the cutting wheels together until they bite into the board's surface. Draw the tool along the edge and the wheels will have scored both sides so the strip can be snapped off. This is very accurate and leaves a good straight edge.
