This is the ultimate book on mechanisms and mechanical devices. Originally published in 1911, it has 1800 illustrations (with explanations) of mechanisms as simple as a pulley and as complex as a steam engine. The author's intent was to capture all of the mechanisms designed from the beginning of time until the publication of the book.
