Axminster 300mm Disc Sanding Station

This is an ideal stand alone unit for those wishing to have a disc sander mounted onto an integrated dust extraction stand. The disc sander is our well proven 300mm unit, featuring fabricated steel construction with an aluminium tilting table, cast alloy disc with safety quadrant guard and an accurate mitre fence for end grain sanding, either straight or angled. A 560W induction motor provides plenty of power and near silent running. The dust shrouded no-volt release switch is fitted with a mushroom Emergency Stop actuator. A 63mm dust outlet provides a convenient extraction port. Mounted upon the DT-500 extraction stand, this unit has a built-in 750W induction motored dust extractor. With a 1 micron filter performance the two stage filters have a paper primary filter/bag unit plus a secondary cloth filter bag. Accessible through the front door and easy to change. The stand is fabricated steel all round and features a 13A power outlet socket to provide power to the sander mounted upon it. This socket is controlled by the main switch (fitted with an Emergency Stop actuator) so that the sander cannot be operated unless the dust extractor is switched on first. Turn the extractor off and the sander stops automatically.
