Axminster Mitre Saw Stand

A universal mitre saw stand that can be adjusted to accept nearly all makes of mitre saw. The stand is made from heavy gauge steel box section and will withstand a substantial weight of material. When using longer lengths of material the rollers can be drawn out to extend the support (up to two metres) especially useful when cutting lengths of architrave or similar sections. The legs fold flat for storage and the whole unit can be dramatically reduced in size, essential for ease of transport. The unique feature of this stand is that the machine is mounted on to two extrusions with bolts through the base of the mitre saw, the two extrusions then clamp onto the stand and can be quickly detached for transportation. With virtually no limitation on the type of mitre saw that can be used, this stand will make an excellent investment for anyone working on site or in the workshop. Large mitre saws and those with non-symmetrical fixing holes will require a sub base, made from plywood or MDF, to enable the saw to be fitted to the stand.
