Axminster Plane Safe

Plane Safe is a plastic shoe moulded to fit the base of a steel No.4 smoothing plane, and is held in place with two strong rare earth magnets. A small ridge running along each side of the base keeps the plane bottom from getting scratched and, most importantly, keeps the plane's blade well clear of any potential damage. The magnets keep the Plane Safe firmly attached until the plane is required, on the bench, on the shelf or even whilst rattling around in the toolbox.
