The 2.2kW motor drives an extremely quiet cut and crush shredding mechanism, the results can then be put on a compost heap or used as a mulch. "The cutting / crushing mechanism is quite frightening for the first few minutes. It easily shreds branches as claimed and it is extremely quiet when running.
It cuts flat greenery such as iris leaves and even grasses into 1/2 inch wide strips and this will rot down far more quickly. In 1 weekend it has saved 2 trips to the local tip - I'm very pleased with my purchase"
