Axminster Fold Down Bench

This is an ingenious folding bench which will find favour in many situations where space is limited and a bench is only needed for occasional use. However, do not confuse folding with light duty, this bench has the same substantial top and twin vices as the medium duty version and the overall construction of the fixed part of the bench will guarantee more than adequate strength and rigidity. Two folding legs pull out from the wall for supporting the bench when in use. There is a generous 1100mm by 490mm working area, including the tool well and the depth of the bench from the wall is 1,025mm to the front vice handle in the working position and a mere 255mm when folded. Storage space is provided by a shelf and two small drawers on the frame above the bench. This is a very nicely made bench which could prove to be a great asset in many situations where space is limited. For example; in a garage that doubles as a home workshop, once folded up against the wall you should be able to actually get the car back in! Made in Europe.
