Axminster AWEBDS46 MkII Belt & Disc Sander
This latest version of the popular belt and disc sander has an extruded aluminium sanding table and a large tilting back fence which allows for safe and accurate sanding on the belt. The belt can be used either vertically or horizontally and when in the vertical position the sanding table can be moved to the left hand side of the machine to support the work. The sanding table, when used either on the disc or the belt, can be tilted at up to 45° for sanding bevels and chamfers. Compound angles can also be sanded using the adjustable mitre fence sliding in the slot in the table. A 63mm dust extraction outlet is provided and, because of the very small particle size of the dust produced by the machine, we recommend the use of a fine dust extractor.

Does what it says
"It is basic but works well. The extraction is a bit hit and miss and mostly miss - the additional shield above the belt shown on the photo is no longer supplied and the dust sprays out when sanding on the horizontal belt. Also, the fence on the belt is not well secured and can move under load which can damage the work if you're not careful. The angle fence should be in a Disney cartoon. But, for the price, it's a good unit, solid and stable, more than powerful enough and you'll not believe how fast wood disappears!"
