CMT Bearing Guided Rebating Cutters

This is a very versatile cutter that can be used for rebating, shallow morticing, tenoning and flush trimming. Having replaceable blades with four cutting edges makes this a very economical option for production situations, as when the cutting edges become dull, the blades can be rotated to reveal a new edge.
When rebating, the depth of rebate is governed by the size of bearing fitted to the cutter and by using a bearing the same diameter as the cutter, flush trimming can be performed easily. The list below shows D as the diameter, and R denotes the depth of rebate produced by fitting a particular size of bearing.
Please note: The bearing fitted as standard gives a 9.5mm depth of cut.
