CMT Screw Slot Cutters

Any large panel or table top should be secured in a way that allows it to expand or contract without splitting. These screw-slot bits are designed to cut screw slots; including the countersink or counterbore in a single operation, so that panels can be held in place but are able to slide back and forth without splitting the wood or breaking the screw securing them. Both cutters have 1/2" shanks, 813701 is for countersink screws, while 813601 is counterbored for pan or roundhead screws
