Eight Piece Sliding Punch Set

Intended for use by clock makers, model makers and anyone who works on fine pieces of equipment using pins or dowels. The punch itself slides up inside the body so that the pin or dowel is fully supported by the body whilst the first few taps of the hammer are made. Not only does this ensure that the pin is driven home square but it also prevents the delicate punch buckling and breaking. The punches are made from chrome vanadium steel and housed in a plastic wallet. The punch diameters are 0.9, 1.4, 1.8, 2.4, 2.8, 3.4, 3.9 and 5.9mm. Made in France.
