Axminster MB712 Bandsaw

A heavy duty metal-cutting bandsaw with a capacity of up to 180mm diameter or 180 x 300mm in steel. There is a choice of four motor speeds so that the cutting speed can be adjusted to suit a range of materials, whilst the built-in coolant system ensures maximum cutting efficiency and long blade life. The cutting operation is fully automatic, with the weight of the head providing the cutting force and a limit switch shutting the machine down when the cut is complete. The weight of the head is counterbalanced by an adjustable hydraulic damper to control the rate of lowering. An excellent machine for schools, colleges and engineering workshops. Fitted with quick release vice and no volt release switch.
