Crown 153 Mortice Gauge

A combination gauge for both marking lines parallel to an edge and laying out mortices and tenons. The brass slide is set into the stem in a tee slot. The stock is inlaid with brass wear strips and a solid brass insert provides the thread for the knurled brass locking screw. All wooden parts are lacquered rosewood.
