Axminster Portable Panel Saw System

A professional grade guide rail system for the accurate and safe cutting of all types and thicknesses of sheet material. The circular saw, maximum blade size 185mm, is mounted on a steel carrier plate which runs along the extruded aluminium guide rail with the help of no fewer than five ball bearings, giving a smooth travel and a cut which is both straight and upright. The saw is secured to the base plate with four countersunk screws, the holes for which will need to be drilled in the base of the circular saw. Routers can also be accommodated with the aid of a custom-made auxiliary base, allowing the whole range of edge profiling, edge trimming and grooving operations to be carried out as well. The guide rail is supplied in two lengths, complete with joining strips, giving a choice of 50"(1,270mm) or 114"(2,895mm) lengths of cut. Supplied with alignment guide, joining strips, fence mounting clamps, hexagon keys and full instructions for use. Suitable for saws with maximum blade diameter of 185mm.
