Axminster Premium Drill Vices

Suitable for a multitude of metal working and woodworking applications, these vices are manufactured from high grade cast iron and are machined on all the working surfaces. They have a precision ground base and bed for accurate and smooth movement of the jaw. The fixed jaw has a number of triangular grooves which give a firm grip on round stock both horizontally and vertically. There are recesses at the tops of the jaws to facilitate the clamping of thin, flat work pieces. The handle is captive in the body and the spindle moves inside the handle, thus reducing the space required on the drill table. Elongated slots in the base allow for rapid re-positioning of the vice on the work table. Capacities (width x opening) are: 80 x 70, 100 x 95, 125 x 110mm.
