Axminster Four-Sided Woodworking Bench

This is a heavy duty four-sided woodworking bench made of quality, European, kiln dried beech wood. The top is 1200mm square and made from 40mm deep timber. It stands on substantial 70mm square legs with 40 x 70mm horizontals ensuring that when the whole assembly is bolted together it forms a very rigid structure. There is a 600mm square recess in the top which is filled by a reversible tray; this tray either lies flush with the surface to give a large working area or, when reversed, acts as a tool well. This square style of bench can be very useful when working on furniture and similar large items. The quick release woodworking vices are well made and when ordered with a bench, the benchtop is CNC cut to enable easy fitting. The top is uncut if the bench is ordered without vices. The cupboard units, each of which has two separate lockable compartments, can be fitted either singly or in pairs. All in all an excellent bench and at an amazing price.
