Axminster SBW5300E Educational Bandsaw

Based on our industrial rated SBW5300B bandsaw but with changes to the specification to make it suitable for use in educational establishments. It is fitted with a mechanically braked ,500W motor (Mechanical braking avoids the problem of no brake when the supply is cut), a key operated lock-off switch and a mushroom lock-down emergency switch. A brake-off function is provided to ease the job of blade changing and tracking. All the other features of the machine are the same as the SBW53003E, resulting in a well proven, reliable and high quality machine at an affordable price.
